So...driving across the lake and my transducer fell off. If you've never heard Ron White talk about his Sears tire experience...then i highly suggest you google it as this pretty much sums up my experience. Just bought this brand new Nitro couple of months ago and Bass Pro did the install. Gotta love those holes in m y boat....

Did you already peel a ton of silicone off the back of that mounting block?

nope. I did email BPS and told them the only reason to use King Starboard is to epoxy it to the hull...that way you don't drill holes in the fiberglass. Then the transducer is screwed to the starboard. They should have just screwed the total scan directly to the hull if they were going to put screws through my hull. Anyways...BPS said they would take care of it and fix the fiberglass if i would let them have it for a week. I had intended on fixing the problem myself and only emailed them to possibly keep them from doing an install in this fashion to someone else's boat...but with all the rain, tough fishing...may be a good time to let them correct it properly.

Poor workmanship with zero experience behind it. I would be pissed and ask for $$
