I cancelled 4 months ago. Tried it at the new house yesterday and it's still on, and no, I haven't been getting charged.

I have been getting 12 months for $50 for the past 3 years. Prior to that I was getting 6 months/$25. I called and told them that I didn't have time to to go back and forth, I would like to have my current 6 mth deal x2. A few minutes later, I had the deal. Ever since then I call them once a year and just repeat the same song and dance. Never had an issue.

You can get it for next to nothing. However their business practices are too much of a hassle. I just use Pandora. It's free.

I just paid $48 (including tax) for 6 months for it including traffic...just keep on telling them that you can't afford their offer. They'll come down.

I don't get it for the music although I will listen to the music from time to time. Sports programming , mostly sports talk shows, some politic channels. One hour to work and back an hour. Passes the time well usually.

+1, and make sure that you tell them not to automatically renew and charge card. Last mine came up I saw a $20 monthly charge on my card. I was not happy when I called. Sirius is negotiable just like most other services.
