Do you have yours laying on the bottom? I have soft mud and was looking at them but don't know if they'll get buried.

Question. Do they make these dock lights that are solar powered? I briefly looked at the website and didnt see anything.

I actually researched that but my understanding is the brighter permanent lights require too much power, unless you wanted to get the portable 12v LED lights (not as bright) and then rig to a battery with solar panel.

I figured you would have to have a battery for storage. Just a thought. Electricity and water just make me nervous.

I actually just ordered on Amazon a 110v to 12v DC transformer, to try my portable LED light from Academy on the dock before I spend $500 on a permanent light. Yeah, 12V in the water makes me feel better than 110 (I know it's amps that kill, not volts, but still).

Thanks for the info. Always takes some homework to try to figure it all out. I just want a lite that attracts fish that I can catch!! Kind of the same marketing theory as buying "Buck" deer corn!!!

Looking at these 2 for future.. ------ https://www.underwaterfishlight.com/Has brighter bulb options? Floats up from soft mud Bulb breakage due to fishing lures/weights? Multiple lights from same transformer This one works great for me. Easy to adjust the level as the lake level changes. I have not had any breakage from fishing lures yet, had it for two years. But make sure you secure it when you mount it. My first one was stolen a month after I mounted it. I modified the one I bought to replace it so I could secure the control box with two locks and run the wiring underneath the dock to make it harder to steal. It is fun to watch the bass swim in and out of the light at night. And more fun to catch the crappie at the edge of the light.

Awesome, Thank you for the feedback.Do you have the regular bulb or the higher intensity bulb?
