Is Taco going to be a 1sr round bust ? He didnt play against Seattle. And wasnt on the injury report. I said last year and said again this year he was a complete waste of a 1st round pic . Who ever scouted this guy needs to be taken out of the draft process.

They need to pick up a tight end and wide receiver. Shoring up the O line and kicker should be priority.

Can't win em all. They have excelled by making good draft picks these last 5 years or so. Not complaining over 1 miss.

The same group that scouted him also scouted and picked up Jalen Smith in the 2nd.

Its still not clear to me why theyre not playing him and I get it that he had attitude and injury problems but I thought all that had been resolved

I'm not going to complain about the recent Cowboys draft picks. I think they've done an above average job lately.

He was the 7th (i think) DE taken in the first round that year - i doubt there's been many draft classes that go 7 deep on quality first round DE prospects. He could pan out still, it often takes DLs a few years to develop.

He still has a chance. Jaylen Smith was a 2nd round pick and he was outright terrible last year. This year hes been a stud.

You cant compare Taco to Jaylen. Jaylen had major knee surgery and nerve damage. He was drafted with a 2 to 3 year time frame. Taco was a first round pick. 4th, 5th or 7th defensive lineman taken. A 1st round pick is expected to start if not the first year. Then definitely the 2nd year. He has pretty much been non existent this year. I'm betting he will be cut if not this year then definitely 2020.
