Question to all the bait makers:

What size chamber should I go with to de-gas my plastisol before injecting?

I got a 2 quart chamber for Christmas, but it wouldn't even hold my 16 oz Pyrex cup. I've been recommended to not get less than a 3 gallon chamber. I have found a 5 gallon chamber for only a bit more than the 3.

What are your recommendations and reasons why?

Thanks,

Jeremy

I have heard 3 gallon min from the guys who use them on the Facebook pages I follow. Honestly you dont really need one unless you are just violently mixing your plastisol before. Its an added step and slows you down. You can cook the bubbles out quicker.

Just put the plastisol in the chamber, not the pyrex cup. After you degas it pour it from the chamber into your pyrex and heat it.

Yes, you can use a 3 gallon chamber. Only vacuum 1 gallon at a time.
