Iv'e got an Otter in training to learn how to find Crappie!!! there are tribes in vietnam that use cormorants to catch fish for them. they line up in the boat, and dive down and grab fish. when they come to the surface, the handler takes the fish from them. The handler keeps a rubber band around the birds neck, so it cant swallow the fish,. after the bird brings up 3 fish, the handler takes the rubber ring off and lets him eat the 4th fish. Interestingly enough, the birds will not dive again until the handler lets them eat the 4th fish they catch. This proves birds can count to 4..

Not meaning to highjack this thread, but the electronics are cheap compared to the new boat that I want to install them on. It's a whole lot more than my 3 year old half ton truck. I wish they would make me a new 90's model boat and motor at half the cost of a new one. I'd be all smiles then.

All of this technology is great but it is definitely not needed to catch fish. I still think the best technologies that are the most useful are spot lock trolling motors and side imaging. Those 2 changed the game from what we were using before them. The rest of the stuff is cool but not more helpful then those 2 things. JMO I agree...... I just wish MK would hurry up on the improved spot lock on the Riptide TM's......I need it something serious..... they have the Bluetooth riptides that have the improved spot lockif that is what you are referring to. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/min...nt-bluetooth-trolling-motor-with-i-pilot
