Does anyone know if there are any ramp closures right now? Best place to launch? Thanks!

Cedar Creek is my favorite. It has a dock, isn't busy and is around mid lake. It also has a bathroom if you are carrying the wife along.

It's only a good cast if you catch a fish...

Kinda depends on how you are getting to the lake. I second Cedar Creek but partially because usually coming out of Cleburne on 174. Like said above its a good ramp with a dock and free. The parking lot is a little tight though.

Pick a ramp based on where you want to fish. Most are free with the exception of Lofers, State Park, Cedron, and McCown

Use loefers bend East or West , same area. Better ramps and free if you have a COE pass.

Steele Creek, Kimball Bend, and Hamm Creek were all open last week. Not sure if thats changed in the last day or two with the lake coming up.

There are 4 ramps when you turn by the dam. Lofers Bend is under construction, it is the first one ramp on the left when you turn off the Highway. Keep going and then you will come to an intersection Lofers W Lofers E and Harbor Master

I tried to launch yesterday morning at Cedar Creek. The park is open, but the gate to the ramp is locked. Water was up in the middle of the round ramp area. Went to Harbor Master instead. Lofers West is closed but Lofers East is open. I'll be glad when McCown opens again.

I can also confirm that Hamms Creek ramp is closed. My son tried to launch there on Friday and water was up in the boat parking area.

On Saturday the water was pretty muddy for that lake. There was also a lot of floaters to watch out for while running that washed in from the creeks and down the river. I haven't heard any ramp updates since earlier in this post, but I'm planning to try to launch from Lofers East this weekend. There is rain in the forecast for Friday, so I'm praying it won't be heavy as last week.

COE shows all ramps that are usually open in the winter to be so... any locals have any updates on ramp closures?

I know Kimball Bend, Cedar Creek, McCown, Steele Creek, loafers west are open. I would believe all ramps except loafers by the dam are open.

I was out there this past Saturday. We launched at the State Park. All the ramps appeared to be open that we made it by. I agree, I don't see any reason why they all aren't open unless they are doing some kind of maintenance on them.
