The closest motel is in Tatum...Belmont Inn .

The state park has plenty of cabins, camper, and tent spots

Cast it, reel it, jerk it.

Always take your rods and graphs inside and you will sleep better. I also have automatic locker locks and an alarm that goes off if any lockers are opened. It is loud enough to wake the dead...........

I live here in Tatum, you really don't have any thing to worry about being stolen if you stay at the hotel. heck if you want you can drop your boat in my spare driveway. I live about 2 miles from the hotel.
I fish Martin on a regular from February to August... I went out this past Saturday for the first time all year and we only boated two fish and talked to a couple other boats that didn't have any luck . Wish I could help you out..

Grass def looks good around the railroad bridge. I have tried punching and stuff with not much luck lately but prob just the high water. Like mentioned before if all 3 stacks are going that usually means good fishing! Lot more current flow and the temps can reach 90+ at the discharge side when everything is cooking right. Was there Sat and saw low 70s but had shut down to 1 stack by the afternoon. Water to me is really stained for that lake all over and some areas had water temps in the low 50s and super muddy.

Removing the graphs wasnt a big deal on my Ranger. With 3 - 12 on my Phoenix its a huge pain. Looks like we may head elsewhere with all the mediocre reports Ive read from Martin Creek. Guess we may try Welsh instead. Appreciate all the replies, info, and offers for help. Mgfan58
