Going back to KETO for a few months, just because of the good results I had with it in 2018.
Y'all keep me accountable 64 lbs by Memorial Day is the goal.

I was 189 this morning.
My doctor would like me to drop down to 179 to put my BMI in the normal range but she's ok with where I am now.
With all this rain I'm wishing I had an indoor track or treadmill or something.
I prefer the road and the outdoors but it's been tough lately.

I made my third meal tonight with a quart of frozen chile that usually only makes two meals. I went to Fritos rather than cornbread. I'm stuffed.

160 today, gained about 5 lbs since thanksgiving. Am on a 500-700 calorie deficit and eating lots of protein, want to drop the 5 lbs of fat and keep the muscle.

266 on January 1st. Goal is to be pushing 200 by January 2020.

Weighed in at 259 this morning. January 20th.

I want to try and take it nice and slow with an average loss of a pound a week.

I guess I should post here for some accountability and tracking this year.

I hit an all time high of 293 last June. I typically stayed 285 plus but that was the number that got my attention.

This morning, Jan 20, 2019 I'm at 246. I set out to "lose 100".

235 on the 1st, highest I've ever been, down to 225 now.
Went to the doctor on the 27th of Dec., blood work showed pre-diabetic. Cholesterol a little high and blood pressure borderline high. Time to get healthy and try and get down to around 170 - 175.

I was 265 last August 15. 230 this morning. My original goal was 220. When I get there I'll see if I need to take off a few more.

I'm at 261 today (01/25/19) I was 276 (01/01/2019). My goal is to be 215 by 12/31/19. It's going good so far but, I 've got a long way to go.

That chart is great for someone who's stick skinny with a small frame. Before I had my spinal surgery I worked out regularly and even had 6pac ab's yet according to the chart I was in the middle of the overweight category.

I have lost 17 pounds in three weeks. I am doing low carb, high protein and here is the biggest factor, NO SUGAR. The sugar is the key for me. I need to lose another 15 and I will be back to 220. That's where I was ten years ago when I dropped a little over 100 lbs. I did that on weight watchers and basically that's what I am doing now. No one will ever stay on Keto or Atkins for life and the biggest problem with those are if you cheat your done and starting from square one.

I did keto for the month of January and lost 15 pounds. Just watching what I eat (VERY low sugar) now and cardio 5 days a week and maintained it. Hope to loose another 5 by summer.right now 170 at 5'11". Got my physical next week, they told me I am 50 now so get ready for the dreaded finger........other than that I am hoping my LDL has come down.

Started the Ideal Protein program yesterday and i weighed in at 352 lbs with a body fat weight of 160 lbs., my target is to lose 80 lbs.

Yep it's the sugar for me for sure. I am down 34 since 1/7. I am going into maintain mode now. Feel great. Walking about three miles every morning but here we have hills so it's a good little workout. When I first started I struggled with the steep climbs and now I go up like they aren't even there. Keep it up guys.

Bumped 177 this morning. Time to level out. Can tell you 15 pounds makes a big difference.

I decided since I was still losing I would just see how far I could go. I am now down 50.5 since Jan 7 and at my lowest weight in 30 plus years. Walking has now turned into some running and honestly I have never felt better. I have really surprised myself as I didn't know I had this in me. Keep going guys as you will surprise yourself. Again just no sugar and very low carb has worked wonders for me. I am off all meds including my blood pressure (which I have been on since my late twenties). Good luck to all.

Topped out at 187. Changed eating habits. Down to 168-169. More energy.

Working out every other day with the wifey. Cut back carbs too. Was 210 last year, and back hurt. Now no longer, feel so much better. TUL

11/13/19 (ordering batteries for my scale)

I'll post as I progress.

Had a heart attack on Friday and a heart Cath Monday. 95% blocked in one artery. Now have a stent.
Following up with Dr's. and will do cardio rehab.

340lbs.... 6'1" …. 67 years old, diabetic
Always a lousy diet. ( you can tell by my info)

Don't think I will make it to "Lil Possum" but I'll try.

Well boys, I need some help. I am in a sad state. Always been a bigger guy. I'm 6'1" and 300+ and need to step on a scale. fFrst time in my life my cholesterol is high after a physical. I'm 46 years old and sedentary for the most part due to a back injury. But truthfully, that's just a big excuse to not exercise because I don't want to. I want to sit on my lazy butt and do nothing. Way over-weight and diet is terrible. Have to reduce cholesterol and eat a healthy diet and no motivation. Just pathetic. Trying to find motivators. Please say a prayer for me. Thanks men.

Started at 260lbs, now at 202... looking to get to 180 by May 2020. One full year on Keto for an 80lb weight loss is the goal.

It was 36 degrees and foggy this morning.
I didn't want to work out.
I seldom want to work out.
But I do it because I need to.
Don't give in.
Force yourself and do whatever you need to do to live a healthy life.

I have lost 30 pounds over the last 6 months. Mostly due to diet. I have hit that "can't lose anymore" plateau at 204. Been between 204 and 206 for the last four months. I have nephropathy in my feet real bad and can't do a lot of walking.

Are you Type II diabetic? If so talk to your doctor about Ozempic. It will help you lose weight. And lower blood sugar.

Where do you live? Can you make it to Flower Mound regularly? I will work your azz over and we will both be accountable to each other and the OT and we will lose weight together. Sounds like you must get started. Let's do it. Mine starts back on Mon, Jan 6th.

Any progress Frank? Check out intermittent fasting and low carb. Total game changer. Add in walk/jog and the weight will fall off.

Today is the day to get back to reality. It's time to put the lifestyle change face on and get after it. Gonna go back to posting for my own accountability. It helps for more positive results, IMO.

Been staying keto with a an allowable weekly cheat meal. I've only had the cheat 2x this year. The past 2 Sundays I added some waffle fries to my normal keto meal.
