 A very SLOW day on Mcqueeney!

Fished Lake Mcqueeney by kayak with my friend Jeff. We fished from 8am till 2pm and only caught three fish between us. Two Bluegill and one small bass. The water was cloudy due to past rain. Strong currents and some wind also made it difficult. Fished water 3 to 12 feet deep and nothing. The fish caught were in 16 feet of water by a dock. Rooster Tails Chartreuse/Black was the bait used. A very slow day on the water beats any day at work! It was nice fishing 4 of my 5 days off this week!

Laker...Well...some days are just like that...I have had more than my share...thanks for the report & looking forward to a fish filled 2019...cant wait til springtime on Fayette...

Good report Curtis. Don't feel bad it was bad on the Guadalupe River at a trout stocking! Rough day indeed!
