Can anyone give me a report on what is happening on Whitney? I haven't been out since early October where fish were schooled up on the main lake. This is the first year I've had a boat and fished during the cold months. I presume at some point the fish will move up into the river channel on the north end of the lake. I plan on getting on the water this weekend and would like a little knowledge on where to start. Thanks everyone!!

You can get em in the main lake or river right now. Found em 2 weeks ago under the birds between the island and the dam. Turned on BOBO's thumper and the screen looked like this for over an hour

Follow the whitney workingmans tourney page on facebook, they give a good gauge of how the lake is fishing at least for green fish.

Slow today on the north end, too much wind to go anywhere else.

Did you make it out this morning, Lochsley? We were on the water from 7:30 - 10:30 or so. Found fish south of the bridge under birds.

I used Loafers today. Cedar Creek is open as well. Harbor Master is always an option too. Saw quite a bit of debris out there this morning. Logs, picnic tables, etc. keep an eye out for sure. Never found birds working but caught fish deadsticking. Water temp was 49 early, got up to 51 around noon.

Found em stacked up good on the main river channel ledge in several different places from 28- 60 fow. A real light bite today. They didn't cooperate very well while spot locked. They wanted it jigged a just bit and moving, Had to set the trolling motor just slow enough to keep moving into the wind. About 130 hook sets and around 40 hooked, gotta love dead sticking,

Bobos thumper kept fish stacked around me all day everywhere I went .
