Fishing For Heroes is a project we have been working on for quite awhile. Along with some friends and family, I have created this non-profit organization to support the men and woman of our armed forces.
Often we hear stories of soldiers who struggle with the transition back to civilian life after returning from deployment. Sadly, this struggle results in some even taking their lives.
The purpose of this non-profit is to allow the men and women and their families a chance to enjoy outdoor recreational experiences in a relaxing environment away from the stresses of whatever they may be fighting, at no cost to them. Fishing For Heroes activities will be extended to retired military, their immediate families, and the immediate families of those K.I.A.
Fishing For Heroes will provide the following activities:
Guided fishing trips
Unguided fishing trips
Camping
Weekend getaways ......with more to come!
