 What is wrong at Lake Whitner ?

Ever since the flood the fish are no were to be found . This time last year we were catching crappie in our slip everyday !

I hear ya, the area I fish normally is great this time of year. But Ive been skunked every time.
They have moved tons of water thru the gates but the lake level and clarity are good. Idk but Ill keep trying.

Maybe too many stripers washed in. At PK, the crappie bite went through the roof the two years after the flood and stripers got hard to find. Last year, crappie were scarce and striper limits could be caught in an hour.

Might be spot on PK . I know there are stripers everywhere . Caught 2 in our slip . Never thought about that .

Its only going to get worse. They just opened two gates at PK so the water will be coming yourr way soon. I fished Granbury twice and got skunked both times.
