Laker...I got 6 new Super Dupers of various sizes in gold & silver, plus 3 spools of 6 lb test Stren Flourocast...Also got a selfie stick that I am going to have to learn how to use...Santa knows me well...What did you get ?

Laker...I got 6 new Super Dupers of various sizes in gold & silver, plus 3 spools of 6 lb test Stren Flourocast...Also got a selfie stick that I am going to have to learn how to use...Santa knows me well...What did you get ? Got a new kayak paddle, new fly fishing vest and shirt, five Gold Super Lures 1 1/4" and a inside room rod holder! Santa (Girlfriend) was very good to me!

My wife bought me 2 pen fishing kits. They are these little bitty rods and reels that break down into what looks like a big ball point pen that is only about 8 inches long. She got me one for each truck because she has seen me drive by creeks for years and say "I wish I had a fishing pole in the truck" so now I will have one. Won't be able to catch anything big on them but for small creek fish they should be fun.
I bought myself a new spinning reel. Actually i didn't "buy" it since I have a Cabelas visa that I buy all my gas with and you earn points with it. I cashed in points for the reel and paid cash for the sales tax. So the reel cost me 3 or 4 bucks tops.

Santa did not leave me any fishing tackle. Still had a great Christmas! Will be planing some trips in the near future.

Santa feels that I had enough fishing tackle!  He should know you never have enough fishing tackle.  I did have a GREAT Christmas with family! Got some neat gifts.
