Water temp 62-63 degrees, pretty strong current and pretty clear water. Fished from 8:30 - 2:30 & got 8 bass, 60 + bluegill & 2 real nice red ear. Most fish caught mid lake around 1 set of docks. I think the key was the 2 lights they had on the dock (still on). Tried out the super duper you guys have been talking bout for trout. It took a while, but once I started bouncing it off the bottom with some twitching, they nailed it time after time...bass , bluegill & red ear. Half caught on night crawlers & half on super duper. All released.

Catching sunnies and bass on a Super Duper! Vogey you are the "Master of the Super Duper"! Good job. I need to hit Dunlap soon. There have been some pretty good reports lately coming from the river lakes. Also glad you caught some nice Redear.

Looks like you had a great day! Nice post and fish! Side Note: Any luck just outside the wake zone? I fished there last week and got a few nice ones. I think the fish are moving out to a little dipper water.

Laker...It was a good day...no wind, few boats & clear water. I would say I caught around 20 fish in the no wake zone (including the biggest red ear) & 40 or so mid lake which is the docks past Schumanns ramp. Most were caught in depth ranges from 3-6 feet. I did catch a few in deeper water, but most were shallower. The majority of the fish were pretty small, but they seemed feistier than normal for such cool water. The real fun came from catching so many on a lure I had never used before.

Thanks Vogey. Fished Dunlap Wednesday and did good. Fish were right where you said in shallower water! Posted a report. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!

Love that Super Duper especially on the trout. I have caught bass,Rios, and Crappie using the Super Duper! Myself and Mike USMC-GY were using them like jigs by a dock a few years ago and caught a bunch! It's a GREAT all around lure!

There are heaver Super Duper Lures you can get for bigger fish and made for easier casting! The smaller Lures are designed for the trout and smaller fish. How ever I have hooked into some BIG BASS using the trout size Super Dupers! Bass love both the Gold and Silver colors.

Gonna' have to get me some super dupers... Fished Dunlap for the first time today. My dad, brother-in-law, my son and nephew all got in my dad's boat. We caught about 15 fish in 2 hrs on cut night crawlers. First fish was caught within 10 minutes of killing the motor. Caught 6 bass, one on night crawlers, the rest on chartreuse jigs. Water was clear and only saw a cpl of boats. The remainder were sunnies. Great way to spend Christmas afternoon.
