I had a great day on the water Friday 12/21! Lake Arrowhead blessed me with some great fish including my personal best blue cat. Bait was almost non existent and I was lucky enough to get a carp and cut it up. Fished in 27ft of water drifting the cut carp. Was around 47 degrees. Ended the day with just 6 total with a 28lber,34lber and my personal best 59lber. All were thrown back after burped and maintained off the side of the boat for a bit. Also found a sunken bridge out in front of of 2nd bridge on the south end. And I was lucky enough to get it all on my live feeds

Maybe a silly question but how did you get the carp? He show up in throw net? I only ask bcs I have never had luck getting one in a throw net...they seem to see it coming and dip out.

Yes in the throw net by luck. He was hanging out on some rip rap and I lucked into him. During their spawn I'll go shallow and get them with a small cast net
