Our plans of going to my parents and having traditional ham, potatoes etc. changed yesterday when some of my sisters kids came down with flu and strep. We are staying home now, and having stuffed Gemsbok tenderloin smoked on the egg, green beans, scalloped potatoes, and red velvet cake.

Cousin is cooking two whole beef tenderloins. Im smoking a wet brined turkey on the Egg today and will serve it sliced and chilled on Christmas as something to pick on before the beef is ready. Sides will include twice baked potatoes, creamed corn, wilted spinach salad, green beans, not sure about what else. 23 people getting together.

Too dang much! Brisket, Turkey and Ham. All the appetizers and sides and then desserts. I won't eat until tomorrow night.
