I know navioncs and lake master are the go to maps. But does anybody use the maps on a Lowrance unit? It looks very detailed but I don�t know about dependable it is. What are you thoughts.

I do not see as detailed contours on the lowrance maps.
Some times show more of the ramps, submerged timber, creek channels, submerged roads.

I've learned 2 things since I bought my new Ranger with Lowrance electronics. #1 lake master is much better than navionics and #2 you can't use lake master in a Lowrance so I should have bought Hummingbird!!!

Having the best Contour Map available is a must for both Lowrance and Humminbirds. Let me add the 20 best fishing areas to that depth finder with my GPS Contour Chip. These are the lakes that I have Chips for:

Lowrance came on the skeeter. Had Humminbird on my old skeeter. So far it�s okay. More user friendly than my older humi. Not brand bashing just asking about the installed maps.
