Good luck Mud. My wife wanted a new oven just before Thanksgiving. Ended up: Bosch oven $2,500 (had to move outlet) Bosch microwave $900 (has to add outlet) Bosch dishwasher $1,200 New cabinets around oven $250 New tile backsplash (entire kitchen) $250
I did it all in 3 days and 13 Home Depot trips. Now put on your big girl pants and git r dun! I already did the microwave, complete with adding new new outlet, did the fridge already as well as the dishwasher. Need to get this stove done, and finally the counter tops will be last.

My Dad straight up took a sawzall to their cabinets. I walked in and asked what he was doing. He said, Custom cabinetry.
Im guessing you dont have gas as an option?

We're only talking about .0625" per side too tight correct? OK now get a belt sander and grind off a .09375" (+.250" /-0) taper on the front edge of the offending cabinets so you'll have a little clearance at the front.
Next you're going to need some 2x4's to build yourself a tapered chute that will guide the stove into the hole. Get you some of that PAM cooking spray and spray down the whole sides front to back of the cabinets where the stove will go and also the sides of the stove.. You and all the kids and the stove get on the opposite side of the kitchen and shove that stove with a good running start into that hole. She'll go at least part way in. Take the 2 x 4 chute apart and use some of the boards and a sledge hammer to gently tap the stove on back into place.
Wait, what about the electric cord? Not to worry. Have that plug tied up on top to where you can get to it. Go down to the camper supply place and get one of those big honking 50 amp RV extension cords. You might have to cut the plugs off and just wire it up with wire nuts and electrical tape but that's OK. Run that cord back to the breaker box, cut the plug off and wire it into your new 50 amp breaker you'll put in.
Problem solved. Wife will be so happy to have her new stove running she won't hardly even complain much about the extension cord running across the kitchen. If you're skilful with duct tape you can secure it nice and straight under the upper cabinets where it will be mostly out of sight. Trust me, this will work.

What kind of counter top do you have? That might be an issue but you can probably get a bit on a saw that will cut it.
I have an old Rockwell router that I used for trimming siding. You can easily find a bit that will take off 1/16 of an inch at a time. I don't think you need a couple 1/16th's taken off. We used to use the same type router, although it was pneumatic and it trimmed and put a round edge on laminates.
A little messy but you can just vacuum up the sawdust.
Can't help on the wire size or breaker but since its run on an interior wall, if the electrician can get to it I would not think it would be too complicated.

The stove was due for delivery yesterday. They never showed. I finally got a call from Lowes and they said it got damaged during shipping. Its going to be another month before the replacement gets here. We logged on to just cancel the order and saw where they had placed the wrong one on order anyway. Maybe it wasnt meant to be?

I would call and beach. At least get some discount over it. No reason you should have to wait that long because of their screw up. If they won't discount than I would cancel order and take business elsewhere.

That happened to us at Homey depot last year. I canceled and went looking. Found Texas appliance in south ft worth. They have other stores and the price matched hd. Took it home, installed it myself and was done with that chit and went fishing. Sometimes we have to take charge and tell the wife and those dummies they try to do business with to just sit back and watch a pro get this done. Take control mud.

It arrived! Finally we have a new stove! I have been really dreading this day. Tomorrow is D-day. After looking at it for a few months, I dont think its going to be an issue. My concerns are as follows:
1 - the supply feed is just three wires. Black, white and a ground. Im not going to run new line. Its going to be a three prong receptacle which isnt up to code. Im sure there are plenty of those out there so Im not that concerned.
2- the existing cut out still measures out about an 1/8 to slim for the new one to fit. I think I can sand that much down and make it fit.
3- I have to wire in a new outlet since the one we have is hard wired in. Shouldnt be a huge issue.
4- still have to knock out the kick plate and mount the original is sitting on.
5- mostly, I just dont want to do this.
