Installed both of my new 93 pluses today, console unit works great, deck unit works fine until I use the trolling motor. As soon as I use the trolling motor, I get interference like crazy, as soon as I let off, it goes away. Any ideas?

Is your graph wires or transducer cable running close to your trolling motor power cables? If not, there is an isolated you can put on your trolling motor. Maybe someone will chime in and tell you what it is. I don't know how to search threads on here. What trolling motor do you have, and are you using a universal sonar? That might help responders.

You may need to put a ferrite choke on the trolling motor wire. T have helped me so much over the years that I just routinely have one put on when I change trolling motors.

What ferrite mix do you normally use?

This may sound crazy but, is the bow unit wired to the bow panel and then to the starting battery? Is the starting battery hooked to a 3 or 4 bank charger? If so, try unhooking the starting battery from the charger your next trip out. My last boat, a Stratos/ Champion 210 Elite had a Humminbird that was wired that way, tried everything ferrite ring, fuse under the motor head, even wired it directly to the battery. By mistake while reconnecting all the wires to the starting battery I inadvertently missed the positive connection for the charger. Next time out it the interference was gone. When I got home I plugged in the charge and noticed the starting battery bank wasn't charging so I dug around and found out the positive wire was not connected and reconnected it. Next time out the interference was back. Remembering the charger wasn't hooked to the starting battery I unhooked while on the water. Hit the trolling motor no interference, hooked it back up stepped on the pedal and the interference was back. I'm not an electrician so I don't know how to explain it, just saying what worked for me... This was with a Minn Kota Fortrex 36v and a 4 bank Minn Kota battery charger... Dan

Inside the LiveScope Box comes a Ferrite Block. Put it on the LiveScope Transducer and your problem may be solved.
