Grand pa, me and the boy got out on Ingram lake this afternoon. First time there, and only saw one other boat the whole time we were out. Found Crappie (I think), but need more practice with my sonar.
Started fishing structure with bobbers and cut night crawlers. Boy and I caught 2 small bass, grandpa caught 2 blue gill. So, a more successful trip than any we have taken to Canyon Lake!

Hi Seanv14, Ingram is one of our frequent close by places to fish. We have a pond prowler type little boat with a troll motor that we use there. Lots of nice fat Red Ear as well as channel cat and some bass, a few over 5 pounds. A guy name pop1655 that owns (owned) the Lake House restaurant fished it alot and used to post regularly. I have never used electronics there so i'm not very familiar with the structure. I need to put a little fish finder of some kind on the pond prowler. It's a nice trip up the river, we have been as far as you can go.
