So Wednesday I decide after looking at the forecast to try to get in a few hours of fishing in before the rain ,and wind ...Well the wind part was good the Lake was pretty calm till about 2pm . We did get rained on almost the whole day .We Got out on the water about 8 am found a school in about 30 foot of water right away.I was letting my sassy shad go all the way to the bottom then bouncing it with a slow retrieve. Birds are working bait with loons in almost every pocket. If you are going to chase birds you might have to go to many pockets to find fish ...Some have nothing but birds .When the birds are over deeper water they seam to be more accurate.I was paying more attention to them ),and fishing structure in some spots . Some of the smaller fish came off of a a-rig .I did not get any of deadsticking my friend did catch a few that way..Best fish came off a sassy shad this was Guys first fish for the day.
