Rangers have been busy trading some pieces to get young pitching and even signed a pitcher to a 3 year deal, that being Lance Lynn. They traded Alex Claudio for a competitive balance pick that will be around the 40th overall. They also been in contact with some teams over Profar and Leclerc. I heard they were going with two left fielders,no third baseman. Trying to save money for more dead arms.

Maybe the young Rangers will catch some of the vibe from the young Mavs and Cowboys and surprise us all.
But then again, pitching is the most important part of all for a baseball team and we have quite a ways to go in that area.

Getting Lance Lynn on a 3 year contract is a solid signing. He's only 31 and has very good stats for his 7 years in MLB. Great start for a renewed starting rotation.

Rumor is the Padres are looking at Profar.... I would like to see that trade

They just signed kinsler I think, but sure if that has any bearing.

Zzzzzzzzz wish boredom ball would shorten their season. 50 games then playoffs. That would be much more entertaining. Rangers would still suck but wouldn�t suck for as long.

Profar plays 3rd unless they trade him. If they do, then Gallo can move back to 3rd and that frees up left field for Calhoun.
