Dead at 74. She was in a lot of Eastwood movies, dated him, sued him. Seems like we were just talking about her in an earlier OT thread.

It's a shame we haven't figured out a cure for cancer yet... They had quite the history... lived together for years,made a bunch of movies, then it went bad. CE sat all her belongings on the street one day, from a house she thought he had given him. Lawsuits ensued, including palimony. CE offered her a movie deal trying to get her to drop the palimony suit, and she sued him for that apparently as well.... When it went bad, it really went bad. As much as everyone loves Eastwood, he't got a pretty bad personal track record... has had something like 6 families over the years. Also Interesting tidbit, it's widely rumored (meaning, well known) that the reason Eastwood fired the director of Outlaw Josey Wales is said director asked Sondra out same time as Eastwood. He was having none of that so he fired the director and took over directing the movie himself. It actually prompted the creation of a SAG (or whatever) rule which prevents actors in a movie from taking over as director - apparently known in the biz as the "Eastwood" rule.

There's always two sides, but if you read some of the history of their relationship, it's downright cruel. RIP Sondra.
