Lake is looking better...Not as Red as last week...not great but looking better
Came out of Highport and started hitting my normal spots
1st spot is a ditch right off the river channel and they were stacked up thick
in 39fow...slow rolling sassy and wild eye got them here...pulled 7-8 smaller fish
2nd spot is some humps ranging from 12-30fow..lots of fish only a few takers
3rd spot a nice rock ledge that had some better fish on it..got 2 eight pounders here

Moved around here and there looking at structure..found lots of fish but very few takers
Back to spot one and pulled a few nice overs and called it a day

Was on the water from 9-1pm over pretty good day just waiting on
Few Texoma brutes to come out and play

Great report. I'm headed out Saturday and haven't been since mid-October. Is the ramp at Eisenhower open or is it still closed? I am guessing the ramp at the damn is open?

I'm hoping I can find some around Eisenhower, the Pump Station, Grandpappy, or maybe Tabletop. What about the cross or the islands?

I am glad to hear that they will hit a slow rolled bait and it's not all deadstick (even though I will try that).

What about birds, any lately? I know Saturday is foretasted to be slow, fishing-wise. I'm guessing due to the front having just passed through? Anyone have insight into this?

thanks!
