I had a rat and a couple cats in college. The rat figured out how to open his cage and got out and went missing in the apartment one day. Days went by and I couldn't find him, but I was worried that any day I'd come home from class to find the cats had killed him somewhere.
One day I walk in the door, and the rat was in the den, on the couch. Somehow he had gotten an Oreo from the top of the refrigerator, taken it into the den, and was sitting there eating it like a little sandwich. Hanging out there with him, one on either side, my two deadly cats.
