They are putting this coffer dam in at Smith's cove. I see that they place the panels in by vibrating them into the ground. Once they finish the project how do you get them out? They are suppose to be in bedrock that is why I am asking.

From the title of the thread, I thought it was about an episode of Ghost Adventures

In the last episode there was a statement made that the brothers had bought the entire island. The Local Government has some strict rules. I assume they are not going to be allowed to leave the coffer dam in place forever. I don't care about opinions, everyone can watch it according to their own needs. I like the show because it's better than most of the other junk. I only wanted to know if someone knew how you would remove the panels since they were pounded into the bedrock.

Probably water blaster. Would be my guess

I let a few episodes record and watch them all together. You can usually fast forward thru the first 20 minutes because it is just a recap of the previous episode. They are actually finding some interesting artifacts now. I think they may be getting close to some interesting finds but i am not going to go out of my way to watch it.

We watch the show but it is a pain sometimes. The constantly repeating stuff over and over drives us nuts. What kills me is their lack of real human effort in finding things. If I wanted to find "treasure" on the shorelines or in the woods, I would sure as heck have more than one guy with a metal detector. I'd have the whole bunch of them out there going back and forth over the land. What could it hurt? They get the one English guy out there, they find a crossbow bolt, pat each other on the back and head to the pub.
I 2nd Bigbob's remark: "Find something!"

The guy with the metal detector is finding some neat stuff. The metal pieces he found this week probably came off of a French Soldier's hat. Now we know the French did help fight the English during the Revolutionary War, but this was possibly hundreds of years prior to that war. Is this perhaps why some provinces in Canada still speak French as their native language? There is a ton of history visited in this show and while I have never been a history buff, this show makes the history very interesting. Edited to add: I think the discovery of the Roman pilum was very interesting. Did a Roman ship land on Oak Island between 100-500 AD? Maybe they landed on it but when they made their way back to Rome, they were not believed. The main reason why Columbus was believed was because of all the gold he brought back to the Queen of Spain. If he had not showered her with all of that gold, would he have been believed?

I enjoy watched it, get tired of all the repeating by the commentary guy but overall it's a decent show. I like history so it keeps me interested and is better than a show like that fat heifer mama June most of yall watch.

I know the answer and to your question and will happily answer. First, I would like you to watch a few commercials. After the commercials, you can ask your question again, and I will tease you, but not answer the question. After another set of commercials, We will recap and I will kind of answer for you.........

They are only down 24ft. Not to bedrock. Just deep enough to keep it dry. I suppose those cranes will lift them out. Not real sure.
