McCoys mean green is the best I have used for moving baits and I tested out a bunch of different lines over the years. It has good strength, controlled stretch, and low memory.

I do also use fluorocarbon line (Invizx) for throwing crank baits as well, usually a 6XD or deeper crank bait.

I use fluorocarbon for crankbaits 95% of the time. The only time I use mono or copolymer for cranks is if I need to keep the bait up in the water column, above cover. For spinnerbaits, I pretty much use 16-20# fluorocarbon 100% of the time. The only time I'll use something different is if I go to Falcon. I sometimes use 20# Big Game or 17# CXX there.

I think the knot that you use is more important than brand of line. I use sunline sniper fluorocarbon on just about every thing I throw. But I had to learn how to tie a knot other than the palomar knot.

Used to use Yozuri hybrid for jerkbaits and shaky head. Neutrally buoyant. Switched to Pline CX for those applications, mostly because its more widely available and they are very similar in performance, but Pline CX has less memory.

If you learn how to tie a Palomar knot correctly, it will work just fine for fluorocarbon lines.

That's interesting, I've had no issues with Palomar and Fluoro, and use FC Sniper quite a bit. I know there are a lot of "Fluro-recommended" knots, but Palomar always worked well for me. The Zona/Double Clinch knot is also a good one, as well as the Shin Fukae knot for tying braid/fluoro leader.
