I’ve got a 2016 Yamaha 225 sho. 1.Where is the motor considered full trim down? Is it all the way down. 2. Where is trim up. Is it all the way up or where the second stage cylinder takes over?

1. yes 2. yes, "trim" is what you refer to as first stage and "tilt" is second stage.
Trim adjusts the trim angle of the boat on plane. Tilt raises the motor for trailering, stowing, etc.
