Check your local pawn shops. Get them to start it. Make them an offer for out the door. I got a 5hp Honda engine one for cheap. It looked brand new. If they have had it for a while they will let her go home with you. Mine has worked well.. knock on wood

I also have an electric Sun Joe. It does everything I need and I don't have to wonder if it is going to start. Had it four years.

I bought a gas burner Subaru at Costco. It was cheap. Does a fine job.

I don't know anything about them. But the Sun Joe SPX3500 is the deal of the day on Amazon right now. $159.00 Reg $244.99
