I believe the guides are currently feeling the pinch due to poor fishing and making trip to other lakes...

But they drain Fayette and then spray the stuff that is on land I thought.

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

This is July 2017. Ames Springs Basin, Caddo Lake.

Unable to fish is an understatement.

Thankfully with the help of spraying and weather ups and downs, things are much better this year!

I really don't think spraying hurts the fish. Caddo is so shallow we would be the first to know. Just my opinion.

Thanks for posting this pic. And there was ALOT more of this on Caddo in 2017. The know-it-alls that state that something like this isnt that bad or would even be helpful never saw this in real life. Just making speculations over their keyboards. With Grass Carp, past spraying practices...I rarely say this about the state but they did an awesome job jumping all over Caddo. Other factors helped but the state was all over this one.
