 Leaking Oil Pump

I have a 2012 115 Mercury Pro XS and a small leak at the oil pump. The three screws holding the oil pump on were loose and I tightened them up hoping it would fix the problem. But nope, it didn't. I see diagrams and videos on-line showing its just an O ring gone bad. Thought about replacing myself and wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue and repaired it themselves? I know that once the pump is disassembled it would have to be primed at the dealership. Any thoughts or opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would have a dealer do so if it goes bad it on dealer and if you do it and it quick's and blows motor it on you

Most of the time it is the oil pump itself.

 Looks like I'll be grounded for awhile. Might have to come out of retirement for a short while. Asking the wife to get a second job is out of the question. lol
