I fished two weeks ago to scout for the high school tournament out there. Targeted water main lake between 10-30’ tried to key in on timber near creek channels. Fished the old dam as well and didn’t get a bite in 8 hours of fishing. Just saw the results and only 13 teams out of 150+ caught a fish Saturday. While I feel better it wasn’t just me, what does it take to catch a fish there right now? Water was ~52 degrees pretty clear around the dam but muddy up the creek channels.

Dang...… Still think its pretty amusing that they have high school events this time of year considering half the kids can barley cast lol

slow presentation and even slower, use creature baits and jigs, let them sit and soak some. bites are few but good if you have the patience to slow down. fish are 2 to 10 deep on random structure. good luck also a square bill works to.

Skeeter man is right....I got a hotspot chip from Donald Harper and it has producing spots on it now. Most of these spots wee so so in the summer, but the fall and cooler water temps have them congregating where you wouldn't expect. I caught 5 total the last two times out there, but they were nice....
