Braid came out as the new “super-line” for bass fishing many years ago. Marketing genius! That stuff had already been used for cat fishing for 50 years before that!

My boater thinks fluoro is all bunk, still uses mostly mono or braid. Of course, me using FC Sniper and he out-catches me usually, but could be that he's just a better fisherman than me, or that he's on the front of boat  . But wait.... he must be missing a lot of bites not using fluoro!
