I can see where sous vide would be an advantage if you had to cook several steaks to different degrees of doneness, other than that I think it is too much trouble to mess with, especially if you can cook a perfect steak in 10 minutes over a hot fire. Preach!!!!!

Laugh all you want, but until you've eaten meat cooked sous vide....................
Makes it almost impossible to overcook, and every type of meat I've ever eaten like this was extremely tender and juicy. If someone has to boil meat to keep from over cooking they need to just give up, real men don't boil meat!
