Fished it years ago but had to take shelter from huge hailstones and a violent storm that poured buckets for hours.
The next day the wind was too much for my row boat and I stayed in a cove that had zero fish biting the live baits I
was using. Just wondering the quality of fish and how hard to catch them in that water.

At least the countryside was one I would have moved back to if it weren't for job considerations once I was discharged.

Striper capitol of the state. Has good largemouth and crappie. World record Bluecat. And probably the best smallmouth fishing in Texas. I'd say its a good lake.
