Looks like you and your buddy had a good time. Has he seen you catch a fish yet? If so, how did he react?

At least put a life jacket on your dog they are about 20 bucks. It's not a matter of will he/she jump out but when he/she jumps out. Be safe & tight lines.

Be careful fishing with your dog in waters that have gators. Only time I have ever seen one mess with a kayak it was going after a little dog.

Yep a life jacket for the dog is a good idea. Most will eventually fall out the boat for one reason or another . If the do most jackets have convenient handles on the top make it much easier to get the dog back in the boat. Also if you leave a leash on the dog its easier to them if they try to swim away from the boat.

Life jackets ??LOL But then again my last fishing buddy was a lab mix and now I have a Chesapeake.. so I wouldn't know much about little dogs that can't swim.

Dog does know how to swim, but yes should have put his life jacket on him. I just got a new fishing partner when he gets bigger.
