Hope everybody has had an awesome week. I haven't really been on here in quite some time other than the pics of me and my catches out on benbrook with big poppa. And I haven't been fishing a lot lately, but I was actually going to try and see how much practice I need and go try jig fishing at some spillways for Flathead and blues. I read that like Ray Roberts is releasing around 2000cfs. And I was just wondering if anybody on here could give me a somewhat accurate guess as to what, though current temperature might be of the water that is being released at the outlet. Also planning on giving the Louis ville spillway a shot as well. And depending on our luck go ahead and make the drive and also check out lake Lavon spillway and. Lake Ray Hubbard, if they are releasing water. So if anybody has an idea as to the current water temp as well as any Advice on the best ways to jig fish, those specific spillways and outlets for catfish preferably flathead but also blues, thanks in advance! The only time I have jigged and swim baited for Flathead has been up in Northeast Kansas on local lakes there and my favorite which is the south side of Bowersock dam, on the Kansas river in Lawrence Kansas, on 6th in Massachusetts, St right beneath the cooling outlet buillding for for the hydroelectric power plants system.

Lets hear more about jig fishing for flatheads. That sounds like fun. Ive caught a flathead on a top water jitterbug once while bass fishing.
