I took my Father in-law out today to Lake Conroe to try to get him a good fish. He has caught some up to about 20lbs and I wanted to get him on something bigger . He started out with a 15 1/2 and followed with several 6-9 lbrs. It was late into our final drift when I was losing hope that it happened . The rod went down and he had hold of one with shoulders he handled it good and let him take line and played to boat side for me to net . We blew his personal best out with a nice 47.35 lb. beauty . He finished the day with a 12 1/2 .
we kept about 5 fish from 5-9 lbs, for the grease. [Linked Image]
