Finally got back on the water for the first time since August. We fished from 11-3. Several trout around Meacoms. The reds we caught were on the mud areas between the reefs around Tiki Island.
Pink Lil John was the bait. The bite died off as soon as the front passed through.

headed out there in about 45 min. will pass over those places too. think i'll pick up a pint of shrimp.

headed out there in about 45 min. will pass over those places too. think i'll pick up a pint of shrimp. caught plenty of fish. sheeps, reds and trout, but all too little. when the out going tide went slack, it stopped the bite completely. must be sheephead spawn or something. caught em on shell everywhere. all but one was 12-14".
