I've never fished the salt in the winter. There's a full moon around 1/5 and a new moon around 1/20. Which would be better? Are the fish on the flats or do they stay deeper? Should I expect to catch limits of specks and reds or is the fishing slower in the winter? I appreciate any tips I get. Tight lines.

Thanks Iconn4. That was my thought too. I usually fish the new moon when planning my trips.
