Got on the water at Park Prairie around 9:30am. The water is high and a clear green. The courtesy docks are only a few inches above the surface. As we started out we noticed that there was hydrilla at the point at the launch. We started fishing there and my Wife caught a small bass. Nothing for me. We fished the discharge, the baffle dike, the intake, trees on the east side and finished up back at the discharge. We caught a total of 8 bass and somehow I managed to foul hook a big tilapia. Biggest bass was a #3.2 I caught at the discharge on a crankbait. The winds stayed down but partly sunny turned into mostly cloudy all day. There is definitely "grass" in FCL but it no where near being wide spread. As usual, it would good to be out on the water again.

Be safe,
Rayzor

Fished it on Tuesday with high north winds, clear skies and cooooollllddddd temps. We caught 20 ish after not having a bite for the first 3 or 4 hours. Brutal weather conditions. All fish caught out deep.

Hey Rayzor. I notice you fish Basteop and Fayette pretty regular. I moved to Austin recently and have hit Bastrop once and never been to Fayette. If you ever need a back seat hit me up. All my fishing buddies are in N & E Texas. Or we can take my boat. Got a 19 ' Legend.
