Beautiful day on Naconiche, launched around 11:00 a.m... ended after dark. Started out deep following the creek channel but never saw anything... didn't really fish that much as I knew what I was looking for on graph and never saw it. Went shallow and didn't get a bite, then late in the day went deep again and found some active fish. Had switched to a 7 inch flutter spoon and thought about changing back to five inch but was too lazy and kept throwing it. Got bit right away and the skunk was off. Caught a few more but they kept getting smaller. Left them biting at dark as it got cold fast and I was just thankful to catch something. Didn't have phone with me today and got to listen to Cowboys win as I was loading up.. Couldn't have asked for a better ending.

Beautiful pictures. Lot of folks don't know it but Naconiche has some BIG crappie in it also.

To whom much is given, much is required.

Iconn4,

I really like that bridge! Fish always seem attracted to the pilings, and the bottom isn't too snaggy there either.

??? Is that flutter spoon fished on a retrieval or were you fishing it more vertically?

The bridge is the place Benny Hood's nephew(?) fishes, uses large swimbaits almost exclusively with great results.
