Do not worry about it. Most of the guys are easy going and are out there just to have fun. There are a few guys that are a######s but you will identify them within two holes. Next time play from the whites based on your handicap and age. During the week most of the golfers are over 65 yo and they play from the golds regardless of handicap. Also there is a group that call themselves "the hustlers" who play on Fridays and Sundays. They play for a quarter a hole and anyone can join them. You have a sarcastic sense of humor so you will fit in great with the majority of the golfers here. I usually play by myself in the afternoons because I am trying to build my endurance back. Bypass operations really screw you golf swing up. What pisses me off are the young guys that have 30 plus handicaps and they play off the blue tees. That really slows you down if you get stuck behind them. Today I am putting plexiglass panels in my porch so it becomes a sun room for the winter.
