Other than the obvious lakes like squaw creek, not really wanting to go there, and Monticello off line is there a web site indicating what lakes are generating? More interested in east texas like welsh, brandy branch, Martin creek and other possibilities. Any info would also be appreciated as far as generating.

I can tell you Martin is generating, was there on Sunday and the temp ranged from 64 by the ramp to 78 opposite wall of the discharge. It was my first time at the lake and the bite was great until about 10am, shut off after that for me at least.

I very much doubt you will find a list of plants that are generating or a schedule of generation. Homeland Security is involved plus the generating companies are pretty close to the vest on what info they give out.

Wonder if it has the draw it had years ago when it ran all winter? Blacks, sandies, hybrids....all used to congregate there. Got to think if it runs for more than just a few hours it would still attract?

Lavon generates quite a bit... But mostlycatfish and white bass were thick out there near the discharge over the summer, not sure about largemouth in the winter.

I know back when it was running normal that it had some good fishin. If it stays on like I hope it does I plan on hittin it. Heck even just a degree or two could make a big difference

Lake Hubbard plant has a gas contract that normally shuts the gas off when the temp reaches a agreed on low temp. So it should shutoff in really cold weather.

Your not the only 1. There were about 300 company employees and contractors that were not too happy either.

I've seen the power plant running on Arlington some lately. Not sure if it is even enough to warm the water any.
