I'll clarify the facts as I was driving the boat. We were running in a calm cove, and at 99.7 mph the boat hooked and we were both ejected. And before anyone starts on the "I don't own a Bullet because of this... Bullets aren't safe... something is wrong with the boat" I'll clarify and say that I was running a case with a modified skeg, at an extremely high motor height, and I pushed the envelope. It was my fault, it was in the setup, and I fully raise my hand and take the blame, because that's who it's on. We are both totally fine, other than being a little bumped up... and freezing cold. We were both wearing lifeline race vests and straps, and I had a helmet on. Killswitch was worn. Because of these pieces of safety equipment, we are both virtually unscathed. With that said guys, please wear your safety equipment, at all times, it can be the difference.

Big shoutout to DougR who I met for the first time, really cool dude, and even bigger to shoutout to a man in a Ranger aluminum boat who stopped to see if we were okay. I didn't catch his name but I appreciate it.

Glad you're both okay, it could happen to anyone pushing the envelope. Also good for you for explaining what happened. Too bad you didnít quite hit the 100 mark!

99.7mph, awesome! Not so awesome being ejected at that speed, but you survived. Was your boat damaged?

Not sure itís safe under any circumstance to be ruining 100 mph on a lake in any cove, no matter the boat

It is inconceivable to me why any would think itís acceptable to be on public waters indangering other people and there lives doing 100 mph They should count there blessings and hopefully come to some senses. Glad there ok and no one got hurt. Maybe something game warden should look into. Maybe they donít need to be operating dangerous equipment

wo wo, shoot if you are here to talk about it, I'd like second by second replay of what happened, and great job on the safety equipment. Oh yea and boat details and safety equipment details. How is your partner?

Ranger 177, there are plenty jet-skis out right now that will blast 80+mph right off the trailer.. Now thats crazy

People have been ejected going way slower, you ever see the video of the college kids in the Triton?
