Well I broke down and ordered a hydraulic steering kit for the boat. Can't wait to get it on and try it!

You won't regret it. My Skeeter is the first boat I've owned that had hydraulic steering. I can literally turn loose of the wheel going down the lake and eat a sandwich. Love it.

There is nothing I do more often for people than install hydraulic steering. Great upgrade.

Well spent the day working on the boat.. getting the old one out was a pain! So glad I have a sawzaw! Lol steering wheel assy. In and hydraulic cylinder on the motor. Hoses finished up in the back all I lack is the two connections at the helm and to fill and bleed the system. Over all not to bad.. the install was easy with the instructions. With all the extra room behind the dash I decided to order a new stereo and speakers. One of the gauge size am/fm ones. Pretty cool. Went ahead and ordered a new set of seats too. Get all this in and it will be like a new boat! With all the cold wet weather it keeps me busy in the shop.

Man after the new steering.. new seats, new stereo and speakers. The old Cajun looks and drives great!! If you have conventional steering and have tight or lots of motor torque.. go Hydraulic!! Worth the money!! No torque and you can take your hand off the wheel for a second with out a sharp turn! Lol I love it!

Oh yeh I remember installing a BayStar system on my old Nitro a few years ago. It was amazing how effortless the steering was after the install. Went from a two hand death grip to one finger.

Congrats on the refresh.
