I agree, that's why I thought it went under.

I answered this already so quit trolling.

Wow...tough crowd...but not many names in those profiles. I enjoy the show when I choose to watch.

OK.. I'm a fan of Mr. Wilcox. Met him on the water once and he was just as nice in person as he is on the show. Hadn't subscribed to VOD for only two reasons.. 1. I didn't know what VOD was, 2. sounds complicated. roflmao

After finding out (googled VOD) it means Video on demand, I think I can handle it. banana Was surprised the cost was only $19.99 for 18 shows this year. It was a hard decision but for me, I think it is worth the price compared to price of admission for one night at Time Out. bolt

Fastlane I will say what Mark wont and most of us feel. We really dont care what you have to say. You've pretty much shown what type of person you are with your worthless comments. Go back to your sad and lonely life. And best of luck in your pro fishing career. Oh one more thing. Bill doesnt prefish any of the lakes he films on. I challenge you to match his weekly catches with no prefishing.

Honey Hole and Mark Jones - Thank you for giving American Anglers another choice/option in this great country to see fishing on TV. And Thank You Veterans for your contribution so America can enjoy this type of freedom to choose. flag

Great to hear we will be able to see it on TV again! Honey Hole has always been the best Fishing show out there. We have watched it since way back when Jerry Dean was the host!

Here's my take on it, and why I don't watch it anymore. It used to be a show about fishing Texas lakes. Mainly local, which was nice to watch. I have nothing against Bill and think he's a great angler, but it really became the "Bill Wilcox Show" not Honey Hole. Now its become all about money. But here's the problem with that Mark. Me as an angler, I don't want to watch a show where Bill fishes with some Joe blow that paid $750 to be on his show.
Please note, Not knocking Bill or anything. He's a respectable angler. I just think his show has gone off course and he needs to get it back on the track. And this is not the way to do it.

Fair enough but weve always tried to balance guests on episodes. Guest shows however statistically do better because theres another line in the water. To address the Bill Wilcox Show comment, thats driven by me not Bill. Our average fan wants to extract as much knowledge as they can from Bill and the show. Since weve owned the show Ive pushed for that because I see the emails and messages asking for more of that. Its customer driven.

Lastly this all about the money comment that shows up, is in my opinion absurd. The show simply cant survive without revenue in some form. This isnt a charity. The production costs money, Bills travel, airtime, and a host of other expenses.

Either we find a way to keep it in the black or it goes away. Simple deal. We will NOT prop the show up if its upside down. Its a business.

Thanks for the feedback anyway. Appreciate a civil response.

Why do so many guys complain about Honey Hole?! I pay for quite a few TV subscriptions, such as Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc... It really doesn't cost that much to view these shows, including Honey Hole. If you don't have the funds or simply don't want to pay for it, then fine, but quit whining about it. They have a business to run and they will do whatever they can to keep their customers happy, but they have to make money too. I will continue to watch and support Honey Hole.

Come on guys, this gets old.

To the OP and Mark Jones, I think this is a great idea that Honey Hole is offering. Most guide trips are $400-500, plus tip, so I don't see a whole lot of difference.

To Mark Jones, save your breath on the "negative nancy's". They'll always find something to complain about.

P.S. Please come fish South and/or Central Texas more! We have some great lakes around here!
