I normally walk in between the boat slips and throw plastics for smallies and largies. Figured it might be tough access from bank now

Figured it might be tough access from bank now Unless you own a boat or have special permission, they will ask you to leave for trespassing. Heck, the park ranger got after me years ago for fishing from the bank and casting towards the boat slips. I wasn't trespassing, but 7 people called him complaining. I just packed up and left. I have had good luck in the past parking at the boat ramp by the dam and walking out to the point and casting. High water may disguise the point now, but you can see it on Google maps just to the left of the ramp.

Just casting around them from the bank, but I have never been stopped and Rangers and Workers have seem me. Most people have been friendly to me while fishing. Occasionally Ill park by the lookout point and the far east side of the park and fish the big rocks as well.

We had no problem fishing the Marina at Big Mineral which is off 901 north of highway 82 W. We fished at the back end of the first big cove and threw toward the boathouse. The main thing creepy about it was all the snakes we saw crawl into the boathouse. At least more than a dozen would climb into the boathouse every time we fished there.

If that old dock is still there, all along that bank by it you can usually tell where the drop off is and I've caught some really big smallmouth there with a bobber and minnow about 3 feet apart
