Any recommendations for a guide or charter in the Bay Area(salt water) I�ll be there from the 17th until the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
I�ll be missing salmon season but maybe for halibut or ling and rockfish it should still be good.

Found the Salty Lady That also left out of Emeryville.It was a 10 hour combo trip.
We picked up crab pots on the way out until they had the full limit of Dungeness crab.Thats 10 crab per person.
Then we ended around 34 miles out of the bay,fishing for rock fish.Between my daughter and I we caught over 25.
She out fished me again.
The limit was also 10 apiece and since we weren�t keeping any fish we gave ours away to those who didn�t get there limit.One thing about fishing so deep(150 to200feet) for rock fish is you hardly feel when you have a fish on,especially when your using a 2 pound weight.i thought it was like flounder fishing but much more reeling in. Lots of double hook ups





It was a beautiful day out on the water and getting away from the smoke from the fires burning east of us.

We saw whales and seals and a few shark following us back as the deck hands were cleaning everyone�s catch.
When we got back to Emeryville they had a tent. Where you could have your crab cooked for $15.00.
That worked out well because I wasn�t sure how I was going to cook 20 3 to 4 pound crabs.
That was on Tuesday,The next day we ate a bunch of crab and cleaned the rest and had crab dip on Thanksgiving and still was able to freeze some and bring it back here.
